Well I made it, all 14,000 + ft. I will put more pix of the tundra and scenery over the next few days....i took lots of pictures. It felt good to finally hike a mountain as high as pikes peak and realize i wasnt going to pass out....Ha Ha Ha. Its amazing how many people were out hiking the peak. And everybody going up wanted to stop and talk.....I think they just wanted to suck in some oxygen....or was that me...anyway....the one mountain picture is of mount bierstadt....the very peak is where the picture of me was taken.....the stream is one at the beginning of the trip. And the Lake was between Mt. Evans and Mt. Bierstadt...Sheep and Mountain Goat were seen earlier on Mt evans, but that was early in the am......more pictures to follow

Dear Mark:
Cindy sent me your blog address so I could see your fabulous pictures. Makes us really miss the living out there. So glad your kids were out to visit. Can tell you are having a great adventure ... but football season is nearly upon us and you are missed in the sunny south!
C&G and the Crumps and our 2 boys were out to dinner in downtown FM on Friday night. One of us was in fine form. Ask C&G about that. Anyway, we miss having you about, but the weather is better out there in the summer ... except during a hail storm!
Best, the other C&G!
