Today maggie and I went to the top of rampart range and got some pretty nice pictures and also maybe a little light headed while hiking....not any more than usual though! We were a little higher than we have been hiking the past few days....I saw more bighorn sheep, ewe's this time, but they were clear across on the next ridge...I also saw quite a few mule deer and will try and get some pictures tomorrow if the nice weather holds out.....the mule deer seem to be everywhere.....

Well we went to cripple creek to play the slots and give my money to the casino! It was a great time.....the one picture is of the cripple creek area where they mined for gold during the gold rush era and still actually do. The other is a picture of the continental divide......

I can't describe the scenery out here and these pictures dont do it much justice. Maggie and I went for a 2 hr hike today in garden of the gods. If you look at the picture without a date on it you can see a guy climbing the rock...He is in the center of the picture in the crevice...although its shaded you can still see him....the other picture without any of the red rock is a distant picture of Pikes Peak. Its about 10 miles away yet and is 14,110 ft tall.....Im working my way up slow......Maggie and I are going back tomorrow and go on one of the many other trails in the garden of the gods.....Later
Garden of the Gods photos. sorry about the quality, i didn't realize my lens of the camera was dirty......

Well the weather was nice enough for some friends Karen, Mary Grace, Angela, and I to enjoy a Pirates game at their new stadium...Even though they lost by 1 run it was a great game. We also had to stop at the famous Primanti Brothers for a sandwich loaded with steak, cheese, cole slaw, and fries.....don't knock it till you have tried it...We finished the day at station square along the river front and took in a show at the funny bone, a local comedy club....OOOPS i forgot, sorry Karen wasn't there, that is not her in the light blue coat, she was sick and not able to work that day or go with us..lol........What a fun day that was.......

Here's one for all the Penn State fans....but dont get too excited....depends who's winning whether she has a PSU shirt on, or OSU.....It's been raining most of the time since i got here in PA but that doesn't matter, it's great seeing my kids...Jarrod started working today for a veterinarian....as most of you know he has decided to be a vet instead of an anesthesiologist......I think he will enjoy it much more.....and Kiley has a horse show coming up this weekend...hopefully the weather will hold out....so i will have more pictures by the weekend.....
Well I am on my way to Colorado but first stopped of to see the kids in Pennsylvania. I found that people in PA feel the same as a lot of us do. I found most of the stop signs in town said the same thing......I will add more pictures soon....
